ARVADA, Colo. (Nov. 20, 2025) – Colorado Gives Day is more than a day of giving – it’s a movement that is uniting communities across Colorado to support thousands of nonprofits that strengthen Colorado. This year, Colorado Gives Foundation is taking its celebration to new heights with a series of innovative, family-friendly laser shows featuring the variety of nonprofit causes people can support for Colorado Gives Day.

“Nonprofits across Colorado brighten our communities every day with their incredible work,” said Kelly Dunkin, president and CEO of Colorado Gives Foundation. “These pop-up drive-in laser shows are a joyful way to acknowledge the impact of Colorado’s nonprofits and remind us that every donation made for Colorado Gives Day helps make Colorado shine even brighter,” said Dunkin.

Colorado Gives Foundation is hosting “Light Up the Night for Colorado Gives Day” laser shows across the state. Guests will enjoy a spectacular 20-minute display of light and sound on a massive 30-foot screen, with moving images and immersive lasers synchronized to music from their car highlighting the statewide movement of Colorado Gives Day. Tickets are free but required for entry and guests will receive complimentary popcorn.

The laser shows are just one example of how Colorado Gives Foundation is using creativity and technology to celebrate Colorado Gives Day across the state and bring communities together. Last year, the Foundation hosted three drone shows, and this year’s laser shows continue the tradition to amplify the spirit of giving.

Colorado Gives Foundation created ColoradoGivesDay.org to bring people together to easily support the causes they care about and help local nonprofits achieve their missions. Since 2010, Coloradans have raised over half a billion dollars, including $54.8 million in 2024 alone. The secure online platform features thousands of verified Colorado nonprofits, all of which have been vetted to confirm their charitable status and that they are in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office. Donations made between Nov. 1 and Dec. 9 are eligible for various incentive matches and prizes, amplifying the impact of every dollar.
