Colorado Gives Foundation announces four new board members and a new board chair, building on its strong leadership to further its mission of connecting people, ideas and nonprofits to make good happen across Jefferson County and Colorado.


Leadership Expansion Strengthens Community Impact Across Colorado and Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (April 6, 2026) – Colorado Gives Foundation announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors: Dan Morris, Marshall Moore, Pedro Ramos and Zoey Powers. The Foundation also named Stacey Pool as the new Board Chair.

For more than 50 years, Colorado Gives Foundation has worked to strengthen communities in Jeffco and across Colorado. As Jefferson County’s (Jeffco) community foundation, Colorado Gives Foundation grants millions each year to nonprofits serving Jeffco while also supporting donors and nonprofits statewide through ColoradoGives.org, endowments and philanthropic services that help build long-term community impact. The Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the Foundation’s strategy, ensuring strong governance and stewarding charitable resources for donors and nonprofits in Jeffco and statewide. The newly appointed board members bring expertise across finance, education, public policy and community development.

Meet Colorado Gives Foundation’s New Board Members

Dan Morris
Financial Advisor, High Point Financial Group LLC

Dan Morris brings extensive experience in financial planning and nonprofit advising. As a financial advisor at High Point Financial Group, he works with business owners, families and nonprofit organizations on retirement strategies, benefits planning and reserve fund asset management.

Throughout his career, Morris has worked with nearly two dozen nonprofit organizations as a financial adviser and has served in volunteer and board roles with organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and MindSpark Learning. He will also serve on the Colorado Gives Foundation Finance and Investment Committee.

Marshall Moore
Director of Community Impact and Well-being, On Tap Credit Union

Marshall Moore focuses on financial wellness education and community engagement. As director of community impact and financial well-being at On Tap Credit Union, he develops programs that help people build healthier relationships with money through education and coaching.

Before entering the credit union sector, Moore spent ten years as a high school mathematics teacher and helped launch financial literacy coursework in Colorado schools. His work earned him the Colorado Department of Education MoneyWi$er Financial Innovation Award in 2020.

Pedro Ramos
Senior Vice President, Jefferies LLC

Pedro Ramos brings extensive experience in municipal finance and public investment. As a senior vice president at Jefferies LLC, he supports financing strategies for cities, school districts, public universities and nonprofit organizations across Colorado and the western United States.

Over the past decade, Ramos has led or supported more than $20 billion in financings, helping communities invest in infrastructure, education and public services.

Zoey Powers
Senior Director of State Government Affairs, Eli Lilly and Company

Zoey Powers brings expertise in government relations, public policy and civic leadership. At Eli Lilly and Company, she leads strategic policy engagement across a six-state region and works with partners across sectors to advance health outcomes and community well-being.

Her leadership experience includes nonprofit board service and advisory roles with organizations such as Minds Matter Colorado, TEDxMileHigh and the Institute for Science and Policy at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Stacey Pool Named New Board Chair of Colorado Gives Foundation

Stacey Pool will work with the Board of Directors and leadership team to guide the Foundation’s strategy as it grows community giving, supports nonprofit sustainability and strengthens connections across Colorado communities.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such a committed board and am energized by what we can accomplish together for communities across Colorado,” Pool said.
