ARVADA, Colo. (Dec. 3, 2025) – On GivingTuesday, people across the globe celebrated generosity and connection. In Colorado, that spirit came home in a big way, raising $5,924,864 for nonprofits participating in Colorado Gives Day.
“Here in Colorado, we channel the kindness of GivingTuesday into supporting local nonprofits through Colorado Gives Day, ensuring our communities thrive year-round,” said Kelly Dunkin, president and CEO of Colorado Gives Foundation.
To spark local excitement, Colorado Gives Foundation hosted three drive-in laser shows across the state. Thousands of attendees enjoyed a custom laser show that showcased some of the vital work nonprofits do every day and reminded Coloradans that every gift helps our state shine brighter.
GivingTuesday participation on ColoradoGivesDay.org continues to grow:
- Giving increased 7.96% over 2024
- Donors increased 8.93%
- Nonprofits receiving gifts increased 5.82%
The generosity shown so far is inspiring and Colorado Gives Foundation looks forward to seeing continued support leading up to Colorado Gives Day, which wraps up at 11:59:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Every donation made on ColoradoGivesDay.org receives a boost from an incentive fund, matches, and prizes—amplifying the impact of each gift and driving a wave of generosity across the state.
Since its launch in 2010, Colorado Gives Day has raised over $500 million for local nonprofits, including a record-breaking $54.8 million in 2024. This annual tradition continues to strengthen communities and support the vital work of thousands of organizations across Colorado.
